Task Force Information
Reports from WVU’s colleges and schools relative to strategic planning and Goal 1 have been most useful in identifying issues, challenges, and opportunities. In some cases, the similar issues identified by different colleges indicated an issue of institutional importance.As a result, four separate task force groups have been established.

The Provost’s Task Force on Graduate Education and the Graduate Student Experience was co-chaired by Larry Hornak and Fred King.

The President’s Task Force on Administrative Infrastructure for the Research Enterprise was co-chaired by Vice Presidents Weese and Weete.

A Joint Academic Affairs/Student Affairs Task Force on Advising and Career Placement was co-chaired by Cheryl Torsney and Tricia Petty.
- A Task Force on Technology-Based Learning and Academic Programs was co-chaired by Chris Plein and Barbara Ludlow.
