On-Campus Interviewing - "No Show" and Late Cancellation Policy
If you fail to appear for an interview without canceling, your MountaineerTRAK account will immediately be deactivated, preventing you from participating in any previously scheduled interviews and will prohibit you from scheduling any new interviews.
To be reactivated, you will be required to schedule an appointment with a Career Counselor at the Career Services Center. Once scheduled, your account will be temporarily reactivated. Your meeting will focus on interviewing ethics and the counselor will assist you in writing an apology letter to the employer. You will be given one week (5 school days) from the time of the original interview to meet with a counselor and submit the letter or your MountaineerTRAK account will be revoked. Failure to keep your appointment with the Career Counselor will also result in revocation of your MountaineerTRAK account.
Canceling your appointment on the same day as the interview is also unacceptable. Repeat offenders of same-day cancellations will also be subject to the No-Show Policy as described above. Offenders will be notified in the event that their MountaineerTRAK account is deactivated.
