4-H’ers enjoy different types of international adventures.
Sometimes those adventures are local. Sometimes they are continents away. Often, they are “ticketed” through the International 4-H Youth Exchange (IFYE). Regardless of how the experiences are packaged and delivered, 4-H international adventures will always help you expand your global perspective, (2 pp, PDF, 152K) your understanding of the richness and interdependence of the world’s many cultures.
  • When West Virginia 4-H’ers are “worlds away,” they let you experience their six-month visits to other countries via newsletters they send back home.
  • Habla Espanol? Travel near or far to live and learn Spanish the 4-H way.
  • Interested in Germany? The IFYE exchange student Gretchen Riley shared her German experiences with West Virginian's throughout the calendar year.
  • Fascinated by Australia? So was West Virginia’s Allison Ebert. As you read her story, (2 pp, PDF, 281K) you can almost hear her new Australian accent!
