In order to register for a Firefighter 1 Testing Program you must follow the procedures listed below:
- Complete the Registration Form must be turned in two weeks prior to test date.
- The $50.00 non-refundable service fee must be paid to WVUFSE for exam. This fee must be paid with your Registration-Admissions Form.
- Testing will start promptly at 8:00am. Candidates must bring full personal protective equipment (PPE) for testing. All PPE must meet national standards and shall consist of a helmet, hood, coat, pants, gloves, eye protection, steel-toed boots, and SCBA [self-contained breathing apparatus] with spare cylinder within hydrostatic test date.
