Have worked extensively in the field of safety and loss control management since 1975. Past professional experience includes positions in a variety of industries: construction, sawmills and logging, the chemical industry, governmental and private research, a large teaching hospital, sand and gravel operations, the WVU Environmental Health & Safety Office, the WVU Institute for Industrial and Labor Relations, and WVU Safety and Health Extension. Have been responsible for establishing policies and procedures for general and specific work practices. Work has also included project planning, implementation, direction, and evaluation.
