Payment Plans
The TuitionPay Plan from Sallie Mae
West Virginia University offers the TuitionPay Plan to help you avoid
large lump-sum payments. You can spread your WVU tuition and university housing expenses over several months --
interest free. Paying monthly is a more affordable option that makes education costs easier to manage.
With TuitionPay, you can enroll in a payment plan for Spring 2007 beginning 12/1/06 and spread your payments over
5, 4, or 3 months. The earlier you join, the lower your monthly payments will be because you’ll be spreading
your total amount due over a longer period of time. For example, if your total amount due is $4,000 and you
enroll prior to 12/1/06, your monthly payment will be approximately $800/month for 5 months. If you join the plan
prior to 1/1/07, your monthly payment would be $1000/month for 4 months. For more information, or to enroll,
visit http://www.tuitionpay.com/wvu. When you're ready to sign up,
just click on "Enroll Now" to create your TuitionPay account!
60/40 Payment Plan
During Fall and Spring semesters, you may participate in the
University’s 60/40 Payment Plan at no cost. Just pay 60% of the total balance (after financial aid and
waivers have been applied) prior to the beginning of the term. The remaining 40% is due by the end of the
sixth week of classes.
Failure to make minimum payment by the due date will result in a late penalty being assessed. A second late fee
will also be assessed for accounts that do not meet the 40% deadline. Additional late fees will then be assessed
monthly on unpaid balances.
