Public Management - Department of Public Administration

This certificate program provides 15 credit hours at the graduate level to students at off-campus locations, especially in those areas where it would be difficult to provide the entire Master of Public Administration degree. The course work has the same numbers, titles, level, and content as courses in the Master's of Public Administration program. This certificate is designed to provide public management education for those already working in public and nonprofit organizations. The 3-hour core courses include: Public Management Theory and Practice; Public Financial Management; Legal and Political Environment of Public Administration; Public Budgeting; and Human Resource Systems. All courses will be taught in an intensive format.
