Software Engineering - Department of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering

This certificate program is intended to provide graduate level software engineering expertise to individuals who are either currently in the computer and information technology industry or who have the academic credentials permitting entry into this field. Obtaining this certificate will allow individuals to improve their ability to design and develop software systems thereby increasing their contributions and their productivity to current and future projects. The certificate program is an integral part of the Master's of Science in Software Engineering degree and consists of 15 credits of required courses for the MSSE degree. In addition, students will be required to complete a capstone project. This written report encourages the student to reflect on how the theories and practice learned in all of the course work have been incorporated into their work process.
