Background Beginning in March of 2005, students from Japan who have already graduated from a two-year college with a specialty in Athletic Training, are coming to Morgantown for a two-week introduction to the Intensive English Program and the Athletic Training Department at WVU. Students are staying with a host family, taking English classes in the IEP, observing Athletic Training courses at WVU coliseum, and participating in a practicum in the Athletic Training rooms. Ideally, after this two week orientation, students will be returning to WVU as regular university students, after first achieving the required TOEFL score through the IEP
