The Chinese language and culture immersion program aims to enhance students’ Chinese language skills as well as culture awareness by offering them the opportunity to interact with native Chinese speakers on a daily basis.

Students participating in this program will learn about Chinese culture and history while attending intensive Chinese language classes at Zhejiang University. Zhejiang University is one of the oldest and most prestigious universities located in Hangzhou, one of the most beautiful and historic cities in China.

Course Information

• CHIN 493: Chinese Language, 9 credits
• CHIN 495: Independent Study, 3 credits
• FLIT 493: Chinese Culture, 3 credits
• Prerequisites: CHIN 102 or equivalent

Cost: $5,930

• Price Includes: International airfare, WVU credits, housing, local transportation, visa fees, international travel insurance
  Not included: passport fees, personal expenses
