This course is designed to expose students to the language and culture of Mexico. The University of Guanajuato’s Language School utilizes the newest developments in language instruction including integrating intensive Spanish instruction with Mexican history, literature, art, handicrafts, and folk dance. Also incorporated is an interdisciplinary perspective of Mexico including seminars in the political and economic structure as well as cultural and social affairs of contemporary Mexico.
This program is designed to help students improve their language skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking by immersing the student directly into the Mexican culture. The course also exposes students to the rich cultural and historical contribution Mexico has given to the world.
