Ted Drange Student and Faculty Lounge

The Ted Drange Student and Faculty Lounge is located in 259 Stansbury Hall, and is typically open Monday through Friday during class hours. The lounge is home to Student Philosophy Tutoring, Coffee Hour, Department Parties, and to students and faculty on a daily basis. Student Philosophy Tutoring posts a schedule each semester of student tutors who will hold hours in the lounge throughout the week. Student Philosophy Tutoring is a great resource in the department and is great way to help prepare for exams, go over class material, and to review and revise papers and assignments.

Coffee Hour is another social activity hosted by the Philosophy Department Faculty and is scheduled once a week in the Student and Faculty Lounge. Coffee Hour is another great way to meet other students in the major as well as other interested students. During Coffee Hour, hot and delicious coffee is served while mind-boggling and intellectual philosophical conversation is maintained. Although the department uses the lounge for various activities and parties throughout the year, each weekday it is open for students and faculty and tends to be highly populated with students throughout the day.
