| Philosophy Club
The WVU Philosophy Club meets at the Brew Pub on University Avenue on Monday evenings at 7pm every week throughout the school year and summer. Philosophy Club represents everything that is the WVU Philosophy Department. Philosophy Club serves as the foundation of the Philosophy Department’s tight-knit community of both faculty and students and also represents the Philosophy Department’s dedication to broadening knowledge outside of the classroom. Philosophy Club is attended by the department’s outstanding faculty members and students, their peers, and any other friends interested in joining. Attending Philosophy Club is an essential part of a well-balanced Philosophy life.
At Philosophy Club, students are able to begin and maintain beneficial relationships with other majors and students and with their professors! It is a great way to spend any Monday evening in Morgantown, complete with good conversation, good food, and good company! Our meetings are set in a very laid-back atmosphere, where new students and past members are able to talk philosophy and to get better acquainted. So if you are interested in philosophy, want to get to know some of your classmates or professors, or are just looking for a great Monday night hang out, come check out the Philosophy Club! For more information contact Beverly Hinton or Raquel Spencer.
