Financial Assistance

The sport and exercise psychology doctoral program offers two graduate teaching assistantships. We have also had a very high success rate in placing our graduate students in funded assistantships and in receiving other sources of financial support on campus. II. Fellowships

We encourage those of you who are applicants to our doctoral program to also apply for the University’s Arlen G. and Louise Stone Swiger Doctoral Fellowship This fellowship pays approximately $15-20,000 per annum for three years while you are pursuing a doctoral degree. Three of our doctoral students in sport psychology in the last 7 years have already been the recipient of this prestigious fellowship. Elizabeth Aumand (1st year) and Trendell Clark (3rd year) currently represent the sport and exercise psychology as Swiger Fellows.
