Dance Minor
The minor in dance is designed for the student who has an interest in dance and is pursuing a recognized major in another course of study at WVU.
Courses required for this degree include Techniques and Composition, Ballet, Jazz, History and Philosophy, Dance Stage Movement, Choreography, and Theatre Production.
Annual formal concerts, informal concerts (works in progress), participation in American College Dance Festivals, West Virginia state dance festivals, and community and touring programs on and off campus contribute to the student’s performance experience.
Any student wishing to pursure a minor in dance must submit an Intent to Pursue a Minor form available in the Division of Theatre and Dance Office in the Creative Arts Center.
