A group of faculty and students stopped by the Sultan's Palace during an organized tour of Muscat, Oman. WVU representatives were in Bahrain, Jordan, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates June 6-16 exploring educational partnerships, visiting alumni in the region, and planning for future study abroad programs.

Emily Kayser is one of three Eberly College students to earn prestigious Boren Scholarships, which support study abroad in areas of the world that are critical to U.S. national security interests. Abigail Hohn, Tabitha Smith, and Kayser are among 130 students nationwide to receive the Boren Scholarship.

Creating Impact
Carrying Water, Giving Hope

WVU students spent the day carrying buckets of water so that women and girls in Africa don’t have to. The Be Hope to Her demonstration – staged on 11 college campuses across the country – raised money to help improve access to clean drinking water for families in Kuria, Kenya.
