Despite the national recession, Morgantown’s economy continues to fare well and has the lowest unemployment rate - 2.7 percent - of all U.S. metropolitan areas. During a recent appearance on NBC, Mayor Ron Justice discussed the city’s diverse employment opportunities, including those related to the University.
