Mountaineer Pride

Point Pleasant native Rebecca Durst will don the buckskins as WVU's new Mountaineer. The pre-nursing major is the second woman to become the mascot; the first was Secretary of State Natalie Tennant in 1990-91. "I've been getting ready for this role my entire life," said Durst, a sophomore who's been involved in the WVU Student Government Association, Adventure WV, and Makeover Morgantown.
