Animal Agriculture

Animal production systems are important components of agriculture in West Virginia. Dairy, beef, swine, sheep, poultry, and aquaculture production systems have a wide range of needs for housing (structures and environment), feeding/water/processing equipment, and waste management. Worker safety, animal health, and environmental stewardship are addressed.
