UNIVERSITY ALTERATION POLICY

PURPOSE

To establish a specific system for requesting alterations to existing structures, land or equipment that are maintained by the Physical Plant.

SCOPE

This policy applies to all University faculty, staff, and students who work in WVU facilities that are maintained by the Physical Plant.

POLICY

Any alteration or modification to an existing structure, land or building equipment must be initiated through the Physical Plant Help Desk at 293-4357.

PROCEDURE

Procedure development rests with the Physical Plant.

RESPONSIBILITY FOR IMPLEMENTATION

The responsibility for implementation of this policy rests with the Resource Management section of the Physical Plant. Physical Plant, at 293-4357 or P.O. Box 6570, is available to answer questions or provide additional information regarding this policy.

RESPONSIBILITY FOR INTERPRETATION

The responsibility for interpretation of this policy rests with the Director of the Physical Plant.
