Welcome to the home of the WVU chapter of the Society of American Foresters!

The Society of American Foresters is the largest professional forestry organization in the world. It was created in 1900 by Gifford Pinchot. The WVU Chapter is actively involved with activities at the university and around the community. The WVU SAF participates in work to assist forestry professors in research and other events to further forestry knowledge.

The WVU chapter currently meets every other Wednesday evening in Percival Hall. The next meeting will be on Wednesday, April 14 at 6:30 pm in Percival Hall room 332.
