Program or Curriculum Responsibilities:

Access, plan, implement, conduct and evaluate instruction,  research, discovery, demonstration and service activities that benefit the citizens of Hardy County and West Virginia.

Background:

Hold   bachelors and masters degrees in agriculture and education. His research and outreach efforts have been nationally recognized in the area of heat recovery in broiler houses, white-tailed deer damage and intervention strategies.  He annually conducts demonstrations that yield agronomic information for corn and soybean producers.   He serves on several committees of the WV Poultry Association and chairs the Educational and Youth committees. He is an active member of the state and national county agents associations.

Career Highlights:

He has served as Extension Agent in Hardy County for over 20 years.
He serves as the only agricultural agent in the states leading agricultural county.
He is a tenured associate professor with WVU Extension.
