Orientation 151
2 hour, graded course - Available as classroom or on-line course.*
The Career Services Center offers a two-credit, graded course, Orientation 151, Career Series--Career Planning and Exploration, listed under Orientation in your Schedule of Courses. This class is designed for freshmen/sophomore undergraduate students who have not firmly committed to a major or a career. Through a series of 10 two-hour classes, student and teacher explore skills, interests, and values clarification; decision making; career resources on campus; employment outlook; and opportunities to check our career options. The aim of the course is for you to make some career decisions based on your individual concerns.
All work is activity based and there are no tests. (On-line course work is submitted by e-mail.)
Orientation 151 is offered in Fall and Spring semesters and is offered as distance education web courses or in a classroom.
*Orientation 151 is only offered in Summer as a distance education web exclusive course.
