The Credential File
A credential file is essential for students, from seniors to graduate students to doctorial, or alumni seeking full-time positions. The credential file is a professional folder containing a resume, transcript, and references. The Career Services Center handles the filing, duplication, and mailing of your credentials to prospective employers.
To start a file, pick-up a “Credential Registration” packet (preferably one year prior to graduating) at the Career Services Center in the Mountainlair or at our Evansdale Satellite office, CEMR, Room 149, Engineering Sciences Building or select the appropriate link below for more information and to download the forms. The credential file is used by employers during on-campus interviews, by the Career Services Center for credential requests from a prospective employer, or by you, the candidate, in support of your applications for employment or admission to graduate school. Credential files may be updated/reactivated at any time.
You must register in MountaineerTRAK in order to participate in on-campus interviews.
