Welcome
to the Web site of the Carruth Center for Counseling and Psychological Services at West Virginia University. We are located on the third floor of the Student Services Building, next door to the Mountainlair on the downtown campus. Our hours are 8:15 a.m. to 4:45 p.m., weekdays. Our phone number is 304-293-4431.

Whether you are an undergraduate, graduate, or professional student, full-time or part-time, we want to help you complete your education. All of our services and programs are designed to contribute to your emotional well-being, in order to help you succeed in school and guide you toward a more fulfilling life.


National Eating Disorders Awareness Week (2/25/08 - 2/29/08)

Online Eating Habits and Body Image Survey

The Carruth Center for counseling and psychological services invites you to anonymously complete an online eating habits and body image survey at www.studentscreening.org. Enter WVU225 to access the survey. After completing the survey, you will be provided with an interpretation of your score, along with resources on campus.

Please call (304) 293-4431. We staff an after-hours telephone crisis consultation service for psychological emergencies. The WVU Department of Public Safety will take your phone number, and immediately contact the Carruth Center staff member on duty, who will assist you
