Welcome to the Web site of the Carruth Center for Counseling and Psychological Services at West Virginia University. We are located on the third floor of the Student Services Building, next door to the Mountainlair on the downtown campus. Our hours are 8:15 a.m. to 4:45 p.m., weekdays. After-hours Emergencies:
Please call (304) 293-4431. We staff an after-hours telephone crisis consultation service for psychological emergencies. The WVU Department of Public Safety will take your phone number, and immediately contact the Carruth Center staff member on duty, who will assist you.
