Camping - Green Ridge State Forest (MD)
Description
This area is home to many outdoor activities including hiking, mountain biking, backpacking, fishing, canoeing and bicycling on the C&O Canal. There are 100 primitive sites throghout the 46,000 acre state forest.
Directions from Morgantown
Take I 68 east to exit 64 in MD. The forest visitors center (must get camping permits) is just off the highway.
