Camping - Seneca Shadows
Description
This is a very nice campground with great views of the rocks. A 10 minute walk takes you to the visitors center and the base of the rocks. A great swimming hole is located on the North Fork to the north of the visitors center. There is also an easy hiking trail to a viewing platform near the top of the rocks. Running water, bathhouse, showers. There are 40 tent sites, 3 group sites and 25 drive-in sites.
Directions from Morgantown
take I-79 south to Weston (exit 99). Take rt. 33 east to Elkins. Continue on 33 east for 35 miles to Seneca Rocks. Turn right at intersection and go 1 mile to campground entrance.
