A few rapids for the first mile then moving water for the next 4 miles. An alternative take-out along rt 73 in Fairmont adds another 4+ miles. Map. (pdf)
Directions from Morgantown
I 68 S to exit 137 (Fairmont). Go south on SR 310 for 2.1 miles then take a right onto CR 66. Go 2 miles to the river and the take-out. To get to the put-in, travel back to SR 310 and go south for 3 miles to CR 86 (Hammond rd) on the right. Go about 2 miles to the river.
