Canoeing - Tygart Lake
Description
Tygart Lake is 1740 acres with boat access at Tygart Lake State Park and Pleasant Creek WMA. The lake is very clear and does not have excessive boat traffic, so canoeing is pleasant.
Directions from Morgantown
Take rt. 119 South from Morgantown to Grafton. Look for signs to state park. Follow rt 44 (park rd) to park. The Pleasant Cr. Access is on the southwest side of the lake (see camping directions)
