WVU Extension Service acknowledges the critical need and importance of using technology to accomplish its mission. This need and importance will continue to increase over time. Extension employs more than 400 faculty and staff. This office supports more than 500 computers, and maintains two Extension network computer servers. We also utilize other WVU computer servers in support of our mission. The office of Technology is responsible for the acquisition, maintenance, and support of much of this technology located throughout the state. In addition, we are responsible for developing computer skills among the faculty and staff; and for investigating, developing, and implementing needed new technology. |
