- To integrate international and multicultural perspectives into WVU
Extension Service programs, activities and policies
- To link Extension and the University faculty and staff in the planning
and implementation of international projects
Program aims
 Encourage youth and adults from West Virginia and
abroad to know and respect cultural and ethnic differences
Help strengthen West Virginia's competitiveness in
the global economy
Increase awareness of global issues and their impact
on the state and on each of us
Facilitate grass roots development projects which
foster cooperation and collaboration between West Virginia and
developing countries
Strengthen the capacity of WVU Extension to plan and
conduct international programs
