West Virginia University Fire Service Extension (WVU-FSE) is proud to announce that it certified 593 individuals in 15 different certification levels during 2005. The largest numbers of certifications, 202, were for Fire Officer 1. These certifications from WVU-FSE are a statement of success, an indisputable mark of performance belonging to individual fire service professionals. Each successful candidate for certification from an accredited agency knows that he or she has been measured against peers and meets rigorous national standards.
