"hot" SCBA changes and to even learn valuable "self-rescue"

how to discipline subordinates, and coaching/motivating techniques for the company
officer.

(2) recruit and retain volunteers, and (3) increase public support for the adoption

relations, media relations, coalition building, developing effective proposals
and presentations, obtaining resources, conducting special events, and becoming

Environmental Concerns, Flood Characteristics, Response Strategies, and Types

R5. RESCUE SCENARIOS* -- Mon- Tue 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
This hands-on class will present the student with a wide variety of rescue
scenarios. The student will be challenged mentally and physically with each
scenario. Problem-solving and teamwork will help complete each scenario. Safety
and the use of the incident command system will be stressed. After each scenario
has been completed, the class will critique the scenario. this will be a fast-paced
class involving moving to different sites a number of times. All students
must come prepared to work and learn.
Prerequisite: Firefighter 1, rope rescue, auto extrication and use
of scuba required. All certificates required and must be sent in with preregistration.
Full bunker gear and SCBA/spare bottle required.
