Agricultural & Rural Safety

Agricultural and rural safety programming is provided to West Virginia residents
in order to reduce and prevent injuries and illnesses in their work and living
areas. Training and demonstration programs are targeted to youth, families, agricultural
employees and employers, senior citizens and emergency medical and rescue personnel.
Training program areas, technical assistance and research activities:
FARMEDIC
Provider and Instructor Course: Farm emergency response for emergency and
rescue personnel.

- Tractor safety - rollover prevention, extra riders, power take-off entanglements,

- Age-appropriate tasks for youth and seniors
