WVU Offers Free Residential Fall Protection Classes

During free classes in February, residential contractors and homeowners can learn to eliminate potential fall hazards when constructing, renovating or remodeling residential property.

At each class, West Virginia University Safety and Health Extension faculty will cover common hazards requiring fall protection.

Running from 9 a.m. to noon, the WVU sessions will be conducted in Morgantown, South Charleston and Martinsburg.

The classes meet Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements for Fall Protection Training. Cards and certificates will be provided to participants completing each class.

All classes are open to the public, but pre-registration is required.
