WVU Extension Hosts WVU's Service to the State
On Tuesday, February 19, 2008, hundreds of WVU
supporters and
WVU Extension
friends make their annual road
trip to the State Capitol. This educational day provides
faculty, staff, constituents, alumni, and volunteers
the chance to see our lawmakers in action and learn
more about the legislative process. Many also take
the opportunity to enjoy the culture, history, and
sights of our capital city.
The day gives us the chance to showcase the important
role WVU Extension plays in the service mission to
the communities and citizens of the state and to focus on the
many ways our flagship university serves West Virginia.
