Additional Time
Additional time to meet with delegates and senators, with appointments scheduled in advance. Take down displays. |
Many educational and entertaining programs will be
available at different times during the day, including:

4-H Dance Ambassadors, who will perform
traditional Appalachian folk dances at 9 a.m. in
the Cultural Center.

Our Day at the Legislature Group photograph,
which will be taken at 10 a.m. inside the Cultural
Center lobby.
-
Faces of 4-H, an exhibit of 50 photographs
of 4-H members enjoying summer learning experiences
at 4-H camp. The exhibit will be in the Capitol’s
Upper Rotunda.

Circle of Earth Bracelets, free bead
bracelets. Youths of all ages can make and wear
these bracelets as a reminder of the day. The bracelet
table will be open in the Capitol’s Upper
Rotunda.

Hope, Wish, and a Dream, a place where
all visitors can post the promise they see in West
Virginia’s future. The table will be open
in the Capitol’s Upper Rotunda.

Chocolate Chip Mining, Spinergy and Recycling,
three fun games that give everyone a different
perspective on coal, energy conservation and recycling.
The game table will be operated by National Research
Center for Coal and Energy staff open in the Capitol’s
Upper Rotunda.

WVU Jackson’s Mill will feature
a hands-on experiential educational exhibit with
paper marbling and the skins, skulls and tracks
program, plus feature a short video. The exhibit
will be open in the Capitol’s Upper Rotunda.

WVU's economic impact
in West Virginia, a 1p.m. press conference in the
Capitol's Upper Rotunda.

Exhibitors sharing information about Extension and WVU
programs.
The most important activity of the day is to visit with your senators and delegates. Other activities offered during the day are optional.
