- In order to better serve you and provide current account information at the touch of your fingers, beginning with the Spring 2007 term, West Virginia University (WVU) will have your account information available electronically through STAR WEB for Students at http://mix.wvu.edu. In addition, beginning with the Spring 2007 term we will no longer be sending paper bills. This means that you will be responsible for checking your Mountaineer Information Express (MIX) e-mail account for date-sensitive e-mails regarding upcoming tuition and fee and/or room and board payment deadlines. You will also be responsible for checking your student account status on the STAR Information System to obtain the correct amount that you owe and to make payment before all due dates if you wish to avoid late penalties. If registered, you can expect your first electronic notification via MIX on November 28, 2006.
- If you are using a “Bill Pay” service through a personal bank account, please have these checks sent directly to the following address: West Virginia University, Office of Student Accounts, P.O. Box 6003, Morgantown, WV 26506. Also, to help ensure that your payment is received and posted in a timely manner, please allow 7-10 business days from the time of your “Bill Pay” request for your check to be received and processed by our office.
- SPRING due date is Friday, January 5, 2007. A late payment fee will be assessed on the following business day for all accounts of students that have not paid at least 60% of their billed balance (after financial aid and waivers are applied).
- Electronic check payments (ACH) and credit card payments can now be made against your student account by using STAR Web for students at (http://www.mix.wvu.edu/).

The remaining balance must be paid prior to the end of the sixth week of classes, February 16, 2007. If this remaining balance is not paid by this date, a late payment fee will be assessed on the following business day. Late fees are then assessed monthly on unpaid balances.
