Amy's Birthday- Further Celebration of Life, Morgantown, WV, May 2007

Xinya, Amy, Giorgia, and Lucy celebrate the birth of yet another Bell Group Researcher. Hooray birthdays!	An organic chemist even showed up to celebrate. Then again, you can always count on Grissell for a smiling face and a few good laughs!	The girls of the Bell group gather round an old friend of Amy's for a snapshot. Sure was nice of Frostburg to represent for the occasion!	How convenient! Simon takes a little break and Xinya provides a nice resting place for his arm.
Memorial Day - Swimming West Virginia Style, Blue Hole, WV, May 2007

Bridge over Blue Hole swimming hole outside Masontown, PA on the West Virginia side. Believe it or not, some people are crazy enough to take the 80 foot plunge to the water.	Simon, Lucy, Mel, Brian, and Gary gather by the shores of Blue Hole for a picture. The rip to Blue Hole was a great opener to the summer.	Blue Hole is a beautiful swimming hole with some naturally occurring beaches nestled in the mountains of West Virginia. This spot has been a favorite among WVU students for years.	Simon and Lucy enjoy the water and sunshine on the bank of Blue Hole. Simon may be recovering from his impromptu slide down the rapids further upstream.
McCrone Research Institute- Microscopy Training Chicago, IL, June 2007

Lucy and Giorgia pose in front of the sign for the McCrone Research Institute before heading inside to learn ALL about microscopy.	The girls took to the streets of Chicago and stormed the Magnificent Mile for some retail therapy.	Lucy and Giorgia get close for a picture from atop the Sears Tower. From up there you almost need a microscope to see the cars! :)	The two travelers strike a pose and take a picture of their reflection in the Chicago bean. Too cute!
4th of July - Let's Hear it for American Independence, Morgantown, WV, July 2007

Mel shows good form as she participates in a game of Cornhole in her backyard. Mel was gracious enough to invite everyone over to her house to celebrate.	Simon shows Jen how it is done, and he would know. Simon brought Cornhole to the Bell Research Group from Ohio.	Mel looks on as Scott gives his best shot. Jen and Scott went on to win the Cornhole game for the day.	Jen and Lucy crane their necks to see where Lucy's shot will land. Lucy and Simon were excited to share the game with everyone.
Lucy's Birthday- MAN, We Love to Celebrate Life, Morgantown, WV, August 2007

Amy, Giorgia, Lucy (aka Birthday Girl), Rona, Jen, and Xinya all take time at the end of the first week to celebrate Lucy's birthday.	If there is one thing we in the Bell Group are known for it is our strong sets of pipes! How better to display them than singing karaoke.	The girls of the Bell group bring it together for a toast to Lucy and the end of a long first week of the Fall semester.	Lucy and Amy (aka The Dancing Queens) take a break from jamming to pose for a quick pic.
