Deborah Strouse, the Sexual Assault Prevention Educator for WVU and advisor of a group of men called MARV (Men Against Rape and Violence), has asked us to support them in their first large activity Monday, November 17th. It is called the White Ribbon Campaign; they will start at 5 P.M. and will be tying 1500 white ribbons on the fence around Woodburn Circle. One for each of the victims that will be killed by their partner in a year's time. Please come out to participate in hanging ribbons! Tuesday evening they are showing a movie called "Crimes Against Nature" in the Gluck and then they will lead a discussion. The MARV appreciates your support! |
