Welcome to Graduate Education
Graduate Education at West Virginia University
has been decentralized in order to facilitate the direct interaction
between graduate students and their degree program. A formalized Graduate School does not exist as such. Thus, responsibility
for the administration of each degree program has been delegated to
one of the 13 schools and colleges of the university. Central policy
issues on graduate study are coordinated through the Office of Graduate
Education in the Provost's Office.
For further information, please contact the Office of Graduate Education in 201 Stewart Hall at (304) 293-7173 or (304) 293-2641 or send email
to: GradEd@mail.wvu.edu.
