Affiliate Programs

Affiliate Programs are study abroad opportunities available during the semester, year, or summer through the agreements WVU has with various study abroad organizations.

Students who participate on an affiliate program are accepted by the study abroad organization and they pay the study abroad organization directly. However, students who qualify for federal financial aid, student loans, and WVU Scholarships may use these funds to pay for the cost of the program.

Application Instructions

Step 1:
Complete an Affiliate Program Application

Affiliate Application
•	Applications are available on the Affiliate's website. All application materials must be submitted to the Office of International Programs at least two weeks before the application deadline listed on the Affiliate's website.

Step 2:
Complete OIP Pre-Departure Requirements

Attend a Mandatory Pre-Departure Orientation
•	Summer & Fall 2008 Students: Registration Form
•	OIP Pre-Departure Handbook
Complete a WVU Study Abroad Acceptance Packet
•	Affiliate & Non-WVU Programs Acceptance Packet
