During their time in Lüneburg, students will have the opportunity to study German in a German-speaking, culturally rich environment. Students will be immersed in the German language while gaining first-hand knowledge of German culture and history. Such exposure often inspires students to continue studying the language after they return to Morgantown.
In addition to enriching students' understanding of the world cultures and improving their ability to speak a foreign language, students are also integrated into the "Internationaler Sommeruniversität" that is run by the University of Lüneburg. Students will have the opportunity to interact with other international students and take part in all of the events and excursions to regional sites of interest organized by the program directors.
- Students will take two of the courses below for a total of six credits. In lieu of prerequisites, students will take a placement exam upon arrival in Lüneburg to assure that they are placed at the appropriate level.
