This course is designed to educate students about the importance of both leadership and wellness in their lives. Switzerland is one of the wealthiest countries in the world with a global perspective on business as well as health and wellness.

The Leadership and Professional Development part of the course will teach students theories of leadership and provide them with skills to develop their own personal leadership style. They will also be introduced to real-world leadership experiences through excursions to the world headquarters of Nestle, the United Nations, and the International Olympic Committee.

The Wellness and Personal Health section of the course will examine the effects of physical fitness and proper nutrition in the prevention and treatment for chronic disease. Students will have the opportunity to experience thermal spas, Nordic walking tours, and various other wellness treatments.

Cost: $5,950

  • Price includes: WVU credits, extended learning fees, housing, some meals, local transportation, excursions, international health insurance
  • Not included: international flight, passport fees, personal expenses
