This course is designed to assist in producing comprehensive and competitive forestry professionals for the 21st century. The program focuses on the trend towards globalization of forestry, employment opportunities in the international forestry arena, and the unparalleled potential for professional and personal growth. Students are provided with experiential learning opportunities of global approaches to forest management under different economic and political conditions.
Students will travel to Thailand and learn about forestry management issues, as well as the historical, political, and social context of the country’s forestry sector.
