Mountaineer Programs Abroad are study abroad opportunities developed by the Office of International Programs, often in conjunction with WVU faculty, foreign universities, and study abroad organizations. Students earn WVU credit for these study abroad experiences.

The costs associated with each program varies and will include tuition and fees and other travel-related expenses. Students who qualify for federal financial aid, student loans, and WVU Scholarships may use these funds toward the cost of the program. In addition, students may also use their WV Promise Scholarship on semester-long Mountaineer Programs Abroad.
