ISEP-Exchange Programs

ISEP-Exchange programs provide West Virginia college students with affordable study abroad opportunities for a semester or a full year by switching places with an international student from one of over 120 host institutions. Limited summer programs are also available. The chance of placement at ISEP-Exchange programs vary and students must choose multiple host institutions that they would be willing to attend.

Students pay tuition, fees, housing, and meals to WVU. In addition, federal financial aid, WVU Scholarships, West Virginia State Aid (including WV Promise), and student loans may be used toward an ISEP-Exchange program.
