ARTICLE I. NAME

The name of this organization shall be Korean Students Association of West Virginia University.

ARTICLE II. PURPOSE

The purpose of this organization shall be:

             I.     To improve the quality of University life of Korean Students by cooperation each other.

           II.      To bring more new Korean Students from any other place, or Country to West Virginia University

                    through Korean Students Association.

ARTICLE III. MEMBERSHIP

Section 1. The voting membership of this organization shall be limited to organization members who are WVU students.

Section 2. This organization will not deny membership on the basis of race, sex, age, disability, veteran status, religion,                  sexual orientation, color, or national origin.

ARTICLE IV. OFFICERS

Section 1. The offices of this organization shall be president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer.

Section 2. The duties of the president shall be:

          I.      To connect relationship between University and Korean Students,

         II.      To help members¡¯ difficulties such as setting down, moving, etc.

         III.     To share spirit with Korean Students by having many activities.

The duties of the vice president shall be:

             I.   To take of the duties of the president if the president is absent,

           II.    To take care of the request box.

The duties of the secretary shall be:

             I.  To manage all information of this association,

           II.   To announce all events and activities to all members of this association.

The duties of the treasurer shall be:

             I. To manage all financial stuffs,

           II.  To record bookkeeping.

Section 3. To hold an elected, or appointed office in this organization, a member must have at least a C (2.0) average at the time of election or appointment, and must be a full-time student. Furthermore, the member may not be on academic disciplinary probation.

ARTICLE V. SPECIAL WVU REQUIREMENTS

This organization will adhere to the West Virginia University Code of Student Rights and Responsibilities.

ARTICLE VI. MEETINGS

Section 1. Regular meetings of the organization shall be: First Saturday of every month.

Section 2. Special meetings may be called by the president if necessary.
