First Year Students
The study of law is unique from other disciplines in that it requires students to spend A LOT of time in the library. The library is used not only for research and study, but also as the central point for computer-assisted legal research (CALR) training.
In conjunction with the Legal Research and Writing curriculum, Susan Wolford, Reference and Electronic Services Librarian conducts CALR training sessions throughout the year. Hands-on training sessions take place in the Carlin Computer Lab located on the middle floor of the Library. Training sessions range from word processing to Internet based Legal Research.
